We have always felt that investment in Research and Development is paramount in maintaining Tiger's position as the world's top producer of premium quality sulphur-based fertilizer products. We work with our internal team of experts as well as involving specialists in the fields of chemistry, agronomy and biology to continually upgrade existing product lines. We are constantly developing new and enhanced technologies that will add value and enhance fertilizer results.
We constantly test existing product formulations with modified ingredients to enhance degradability of the products and the availability of critical nutrients throughout the entire growing season. In order to achieve maximum performance, we have imported fertilizer ingredients for testing from countries around the world to compare and evaluate new Tiger formulations against current Tiger standards.
Innovation does not stop at product development. Part of our commitment is to develop, retain and share knowledge. This knowledge comes from continual field research and development. Over the years, we have directly funded and conducted research in key areas, with organizations as diverse as: The Alberta Research Council, Canada; turf trials with the University of Florida, USA; forage trials in Alberta, Canada; potato trials in Washington State, USA; grass trials at the Prairie Turf Foundation in Alberta, Canada; corn trials in Louisiana, USA; cotton trials in Alabama, USA; wheat and barley trials in Illinois, USA; leaching trials in Rothemstad, UK; soybean trials in Brazil; yield studies in Fujian province in the People's Republic of China, and wheat, corn, and alfalfa
trials in Australia.
Through ongoing research, we continue to invest in the future. We believe that producing new products and developing new applications will take Tiger-Sul Products and our customers to the next level of performance and agricultural results. Our commitment to research always has, and always will, drive the future direction of the company to "Innovate, Excel and Perform".
