SHELTON, Conn., USA – (September 25, 2017) – Restoration work at the Tiger-Sul Products Atmore, Alabama, facility has been well underway since the fire that impacted the plant on July 29th. In fact, the Atmore facility has been open and its warehousing operations fully operational since August 1. On September 18th, the company marked another major milestone in returning the plant’s rail-unloading, storage and molten truck shipments to full operational capabilities.
“Tiger-Sul is committed to our employees and the residents of Atmore, and their commitment to the company has been demonstrated in their tireless efforts to return the plant to full functionality as quickly as possible,” says Don Cherry, Tiger-Sul President and CEO. “Renewing the molten sulphur operations is a major step forward for Atmore, and we expect to realize another milestone when we begin sulphur bentonite operations in November.”
Tiger-Sul continues to devote all possible efforts and resources to providing products to its customers. Significant inventory is in place to accommodate and fulfill Atmore plant orders.
